Qual è il miglior client email disponibile su Play Store? Sicuramente K9-mail. Fondamentalmente se avete un unico account di posta elettronica e il vostro provider è Gmail non avete bisogno di usare K9 mail.
Tuttavia, se utilizzate oltre a Gmail anche altre caselle di posta elettronica con altri provider come Yahoo, Hotmail, Libero ecc. K9 mail è la migliore applicazione per gestione delle email. Potrete infatti gestire la vostra casella Pop3 o Imap4, decidere ogni quanti minuti sincronizzare la casella email, impostare anche diversi colori del led di notifica a seconda dell'account sul quale avete ricevuto posta (funzionalità che spero arrivi presto anche su Gmail)
K9-mail è un ottimo programma che viene aggiornato molto di rado. L'ultimo update è stato rilasciato il 26 giugno 2013. Il precedente è stato rilasciato il 4 settembre del 2012. Ciò nonostante è un client ottimale, del quale non riuscirete a fare a meno una volta provato, a meno che la vostra situazione non sia quella descritta nel primo paragrafo di questo articolo.
